Wonderful itineraries on foot, by bicycle<\/strong> (or e-bike) and on horseback<\/strong> are readily available to discover the territories of the Land of Custoza<\/strong> and its appellation. These include: the route of the Tamburino Sardo<\/strong> (a character from the Italian Risorgimento whose heroic story, which was narrated by De Amicis in the book Cuore, is strongly linked to these places), the Cammina Custoza<\/strong> or of the historical places<\/strong> that were the scene of the Risorgimento battles of 1848 and 1866, including the evocative Ossuary of Custoza<\/strong> (ossariodicustoza.it<\/a>).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Custoza area is perfect for families, who can combine a food and wine visit for the older ones with exciting experiences for the children in the many amusement parks in the area, including not only Gardaland<\/strong>, CanevaWorld<\/strong>, MovieLand<\/strong>, and SeaLife<\/strong>, but also the Natura Viva Wildlife Park<\/strong> for animal lovers.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The gastronomic scene is rich in specialties: famous – and a perfect match for Custoza DOC – is the tortellino of Valeggio sul Mincio<\/strong>, also known as Nodo d’Amore.<\/p>
